The Foundation strongly believes in the impact of agriculture on Africa’s economic emergence. Agriculture accounts for 32% of GDP and 65% of employment in Sub-Saharan Africa according to the World Bank. The potential of this agriculture is still limited by a low technical knowledge of producers, especially in rural areas, and low mechanization.
It is in this sense that the GroupeSolux Foundation wants to provide farmers with expertise and technical support to help them increase their production and allow them to contribute meaningfully to the economic development of the continent.
